I ask that you keep Daniel (hubby) in your prayers. Last Saturday, he started complaining of back pain. It continued to bother him until Monday night. On the way home from Branson about 8 pm Mon night, it finally got painful enough for him to give in and we went to the ER. It was a kidney stone, 7 mm - too large to pass. It was blocking off his left kidney, which was basically shutting down. He was admitted. Tues mid-morning he was taken to the OR to put in a stint. He was released later that evening. Thursday, we went back for the Lithotripsy to dissolve the stone. That's two "surgeries" this week. But the pain didn't stop. By Saturday morning a new pain started developing - in his chest. We went back to the ER tonight. This time first to Urgent Care. They immediately called an ambulance, put him on oxygen and started an IV and blood work, fearing his heart. Nitroglycerin didn't help and his EKG was normal, that gave me peace that it wasn't his heart. After transferring to Cox ER, the tests showed blood clots in his lungs. Finally about 9:30 pm he was admitted again. It has been a very long week. Please keep Daniel in your prayers.
Poor Daniel has been through so much and my kids are really trying to figure out all that's going on. Baby Cassie is of course not too out of sorts, but Benjamin our 3.5 yr old is feeling the strain. The worst part of all this is that we have maybe 50 cents in our bank account, it's been that way all week through all this. Now they're talking about shots for 5 days and Cumadin for 6 months. How are we going to face all the co-pays, hospital bills and medicines? I'm so afraid. All I can do is put it in God's hands.
Do we need anything? See above. Do I need help with the kids? Tweety is taken care of tonight, he's at the in-laws. Our lawn needs mowing, but I think my father-in-law is going to do it tomorrow night when they come back in town. Tweety will be with them until then. Baby Girl isn't showing too much strain but I think my milk supply is thining as she nurses now every 1.5-2 hours. I know stress will do that. I'm holding my emotions, but every once in a while it comes pouring out. :)
