Baby Girl is 11 weeks today. I stumbled upon the missing piece to the baby mobile. So I finally got it set up. She loves it! When it turns off, she whimpers until you turn it back on.
Baby Girl had her two month checkup two days ago on Tuesday. I was guessing she would weigh about 12-12.5 pounds based on her previous weight gain. It had been a month since I had weighed her on July 10 at 10 lbs 8 oz. She weighed in at the doctor's office at 11 lbs 13 oz! Yeah for mama's milk! Yep, still proudly breastfeeding. She had gained an inch in her head and length. "Her growth is right on track," says the doctor.
The doctor couldn't get over her being so social so early, with her "talking," smiling and laughing. I told her how she started laughing the day she turned a month old and smiling just after she was born.
Later that afternoon, I had some alone time with her while Tweety was sleeping. The two of us lay down on my bed under the cool breeze from the fan. I think we sat there and chatted for 20 minutes. She ooo's and aaahh's back at you and echoes everything you do.
