Friday afternoon was so beautiful, would could resist going out to play? I called up my friend Amy to bring her daughter and meet us at the park. The sunshine was wonderful, could have done without the brisk wind.
I brought along some plastic Easter eggs so they could do an egg hunt. They did a great job finding the "hidden" eggs.
Then we played on the slides and swing. Lydia seemed to really enjoy the new things she was experiencing. Ben was an old pro at the slide and showed her how to do it. She didn't like the swing though.

Tonight we had the pleasure of visiting with Hubby's family to celebrate the first birthday of our youngest nephew, Isaac.
Little One thoroughly enjoyed playing with his cousin.
The men were outside cooking hamburgers for our meal. They had some onlookers.
Then came time for Isaac to experience his cake. He didn't like it too well, especially when his hands became covered in frosting. He seems to prefer being clean. :)
Tomorrow is Easter. I'm looking forward to the celebration of our Risen Lord. I'm playing piano for a local church and Hubby will be at our home church playing for the orchestra. I wish I could be there to see the incredible things they have planned for the service, but I am proud to be serving at a church that needs my ministry at the piano. He is Risen!!
