Recovery

Well, I have to say, the surgery experience wasn't all that bad. The worst part has been the recovery. I really didn't have any pain, just soreness with the main incision. The other three haven't bothered me at all. The first 24 hours was mostly sleeping and sore muscles. Then the gas pains - oh my gosh! Made labor seem not as bad. At least labor pains come and go, gas pains stay around for a while and leave you sore. The second 24 hours was fighting the gas pains and more sleeping. Thursday afternoon though a new symptom started, a major headache. Friday afternoon I was walking in Kmart with Ben while Daniel got a haircut next door. I asked the pharmacist if the headache was residule from my pain medicine. She said it was more than likely from the anesthesia instead. The headache lasted from Thursday through to Saturday morning, but seems to be going away.
