Prayers

I've talked about our exciting bedtime routine and saying prayers. Still, each night is as wonderful as the night before. I love bedtime, it seems to be the time we bond the most.

Prayer is becoming important to Little One, though I know he doesn't understand why. His sitter prays with the kids at every meal. They have to bow their heads, put their hands together and pray. Now that Little One is more active with our bedtime prayers and is getting the exposure at daycare, I find myself wanting to pray more often with him.

If you ask him to say prayers over his meal, he bows his head then looks up with his eyes waiting for direction. It's that sad puppy dog face that you can't resist. So cute. So you say the prayer and he ends with Amen.

Tonight at supper, I reached across the table to grab Hubby's hand. Little One bowed his head, looked up and put his hands together. Then I said our prayer "God is great, God is good, Let us thank Him for this food. Amen." "Amen!!" he shouted! I think the whole restaurant heard it.
