A Big Mess

To say we have a big mess at our house is an understatement.

After moving all the stuff in our room to paint, I came up with this "brilliant" yet crazy idea. Knowing Ben was outgrowing his little room with all his toys (and the toys are getting bigger and bigger), I thought... maybe, just maybe... we could put only our king-size bed into that little room and move his room into the large bedroom to make it like a big playroom. Little One is very active now and needs room to run and play. Plus, we needed the space for his toys. Also, the upstairs is also much warmer than downstairs, so we were spending more time up here anyways.

So our Sunday afternoon was spent moving things around some more, making an even bigger mess, to create the new spaces.

I'll admit, it seems crazy to give Ben this huge room, but I think in the end, it will be a good thing. The room has everything in it now for him... his bed, dresser, toys, slide, picnic table and train table. I also have my computer in here so I can work while he plays. We also have the second tv in the room. When everything is situated, I think this change will definitely be worth it.

Last night, we slept in the little room which is now our bedroom. This morning when I woke up I couldn't figure out where I was. ...Or maybe that was from the lack of sleep the night before... Little One had been up for a while playing. He definitely enjoys this new room.
