SNOW DAY!! Mon, Feb 13... Tweety Bird had a big surprise this morning, a blanket of white and his first school snow day. We had a good two inches when we woke this morning. A second round hit about 1:30pm. This was a heavier snow and the flakes were big and fat. By the time this second round finished, you could no longer see the bottom purple section of Little Bird's trike seen below.
Here, I was trying to get a picture of the big, fat flakes. Nearly impossble to do with a camera, but you can see how heavy it was coming down if you look at the tree.
Our little dachsund, Buster, did NOT want to be outside. Most dogs LOVE snow, NOT Buster! He sat on this top step the entire time each time I'd send him out today for potty. Even with his little coat, he was too cold and I guess he didn't like the wet stuff. :)
I stayed inside with Baby Bird. She's 17 weeks today. It was nice to watch Tweety & Little Bird having so much fun from behind a glass door and staying so nice and cozy warm. :)
Here are some fun playtime pictures of Tweety & Little Bird.
I took this one below so you could see how deep our snow was. It looked to me about four inches. Nice, light powdery snow.
Yes, Little Bird had to pull Tweety Bird FIRST. She made it about six inches. :) Actually, the story is that she had picked up the reigns and he jumped in. But as you can see, he did get up and gave her a nice long ride around our backyard.
"Show Little Bird how to make snow angels, Tweety!" Uh...I don't think they figured it out, but rolling in the snow seemed to be quite exciting to them.
