June Memories

It's hard to believe that Baby Girl will be one month old in just three days. It is late Thursday night now, Sunday she will be one month old. Here are some glimpses of the past couples weeks that I haven't posted yet.

First off, just tonight I caught a glimpse of Baby Girl reaching out touching. I quickly reached for my camera and got it up and running fast enough to see her do it again. Watch closely as she touches it right at the end.

Tweety Bird is going to his first Vacation Bible School this week. I am so excited for him. He loves being at church so much. When he comes home and you ask him if he had fun, his face lights up and he replys with a passionate, "YEAH!"

Tuesday night, after VBS and his bedtime bath, we were in his room relaxing. He had his drawing board. Hubby and I both heard him say, "Look, I draw a balloon." We looked over to him as he held his board in the air. I told Hubby to grab the camera so you could see his drawing. His writing and drawing skills are amazing, and it's pretty much all self-taught.

My parents came by on Saturday last weekend. I needed some help with the kids so I could get caught up on some housework and laundry. Afterwards, mom was having a fun photo shoot with her grandkids. Lots of great shots to share, wish I could post them all here, but here are a few.

We then had a good ole-fashioned summer meal that I quickly put together: hamburgers, baked beans, fries, strawberries & carrots. Since it was the day before Father's Day, it seemed appropriate for a men's night out. After supper, my dad, Hubby & Tweety went out for a Cardinals ballgame.

Lastly, my dad was sick when Baby Girl was born. He did not get to see her till she was a week and two days old. We met at Burger King for brunch. My mom and I were headed a few doors down afterwards to the fill-a-bag sale at Children's Orchard afterwards. Since Dad hadn't seen her yet, he of course needed to hold her and spend some time with her. I can't get over how tiny she looks in his arms.
