90 Days and Counting

Yesterday (Tuesday) marked our third trimester - 27 weeks. Today marks 90 days left till our due date of June 2.

I seem to bear the "miserable" expression on my face a lot these days. I took Little One along with a friend and her two kids to Discovery Center last Saturday. After about an hour or so, BabyC started moving and kicking. It seemed every five minutes someone would offer me a chair. I didn't think I was miserable, but it must have showed on my face.

Miserable now is only because BabyC likes to head bang. It is in head down position now, has been for a couple weeks. It likes to move its head and arms around and that is very uncomfortable. BabyC has also grown considerably and is very bony at this point, so the kicks and movements are very sharp. As uncomfortable as some of the movements are, this is my most favorite thing about pregnancy.

I remembered that Little One grew the most during the sixth month. I've been waiting for this one to do the same. Though my tummy has grown quite a bit this month, for the most part it seemed to happen literally overnight - probably two days ago. My tummy is considerably bigger. My next checkup is next week. I'm curious to see how much we've gained. So far, I've only lost, but since it grew so much this month, I'll bet we've finally gained weight.

I just received word that my friend Rachel just delievered her baby this evening at 7:55 pm. Congrats Rob & Rachel! I can't wait to see her! Welcome to baby Ashlynn!!!
