I called Little One's doctor about 4:00 pm tonight hoping to schedule him for an appointment for Monday. He's been ill all week, feverish to the touch, moping around and not eating. He won't let me take his temp, so I couldn't tell for sure how bad it was. When I got the front desk on the line, I told her I thought he had a sinus infection because his snot had been green for three days now. She asked how soon we could get there, they had an appointment open at 4:30. So we headed out the door and on to the doctor.
The doc said "we don't normally see patients just for the 'greenies' but we'll take a look." She no more looked in one ear and a gasp came across her face. "Has he been complaining about or tugging on his ears?"
"Nope," was my reply.
"This ear is very red and swollen and has white puss all around it." She looked in the other ear and it was the same. So it was a good thing that we went tonight to see her. He has a double ear infection and sinus infection.
We left and headed to Kmart to pick up his prescription. They didn't have it in stock, neither the chewable or liquid kind. So we have to wait till tomorrow to get his medicine at another pharmacy.
Second blow was some bad news that my dad received today. Pray for him. The Lord knows the situation.
