Fire!

We have had a fire. Yes, it happens. You always hear it, "You never think it'll happen to you, then it does." Yep, it does.

Take a look. We had a fridge in storage and plugged it in to make sure it still worked. It set fire.

The wall that was on fire. The garage is full of smoke and soot as well as the attic. See the pillow on top of my bookcase. If that had caught a spark, the room would have gone ablaze. I am so grateful that my "business" is a-ok. These two bookshelves contain all my music. Praise God for protecting us!!!

Our living room/dining area that is filled with soot footprints. The footprints go all the way up the stairs. The restoration company is coming Monday to start moving us out so the repairs can begin. Wow, what an ordeal.
