It has been a very long day. Even now, it is after midnight, yet I'm still up.
Early this morning NCA headed out to Columbia for State Music Competition. We had a group of about 25 kids who would be competing in some way: vocal, piano, or instrumental. Everyone received either a I or a II rating. This is very comendable. There were III and IV ratings given to other schools. We were one of the lucky few of the schools to leave with only I and II ratings.
Glendale took a large group of vocal solos and ensembles and left with everyone of them receiving a I. Wow! My alma mater, Kickapoo, also took several in each category. They received all I and II ratings. It was a good day for all.
