Redecorating

We're finally beginning to see the fruits of our redecorating attempts. We have completed two steps for our bedroom.

Our redecorating began with the painting. First we did the large bedroom, then the stairwell, then the small bedroom. Then we switched the two rooms: Little One got the large bedroom and we got the small bedroom. Here are the before pics of the little bedroom with all of Little One's stuff in it...

Now here's the new setup...

We bought a beautiful new bedding ensemble as our Christmas present, including a set of curtains that match superbly. Then I collected a few wrought-iron decoations from Home Interiors. We finally got to put up the curtains and "headboard" tonight. Our room is so cozy now! (Hint...fill the sconces with coffee beans for a pleasing aroma.)

Our next step includes hanging pictures in the room and adding two more hurricane sconces. I also have plans to incorporate our wedding flowers and some vines to add splashes of purple and green, which will match the colors in the bathroom. Ooo, so exciting.
