After browsing the booths in the E-Plex, we sat down for a break. There are two things I have to get each time we get to the fair - a corny dog and a souvenir mug. (I guess that should be three items, the jug of root beer is well worth the trip too.) I was very sad to learn they did not have mugs this year, so we just bought a foot long corny dog. Ben ate most of it. I believe it was his first corny dog. Seemed that he just really enjoyed it.
After a brief jaunt through the other side of the E-Plex where all the arts and pictures were, we headed out to the games and rides. We wanted to get Ben into the fun house and see if he liked it.
After purchasing the tickets, Daniel took Ben into the fun house. I noticed a camera man standing by the ticket-taker. He was filming people entering the fun house. What followed was amazing and quite funny. The camera man followed Daniel and Ben into the fun house and filmed them. The first thing as you enter the house is a maze of glass and mirrors. Since Ben didn't know the difference, every time he came to glass, he walked right smack into it! The camera man got every bit of it on tape! I so badly wanted to get a picture and tried several times but the angle from where I was standing was a horrible shot. After they finished the maze, the camera man and flash guy started out of the fun house. I tapped one of them on the shoulder and said, "you were filming my husband and son, what channel is this for?" He proceeded to tell me that they were with The Discovery Channel, working on a documentary that would air in April 2008.

After we left the fair (poor Ben, it was already 10:15) we took Steve & Sabina to Ruby Tuesday, then we stopped at Andy's Custard to finish the meal. It was after midnight when we got home, but really enjoyed spending time with our friends, Steve & Sabina.
