Science Day
I first settled in to class with my drink. I was very thirsty.
First, we learned about monocot and dicot vein systems in plants.
This one is monocot. It has one long vein.
This one is dicot. Many veins branch off the main.
Did you know if cells in plants lose too much water a guard closes a door to the cell so no more will escape.
Then we did a cheek swab and put it on glass slides.
Then we stained the bacteria on the slide for Graham negative and positive.
Then we put our slides under the microscope and looked at the bacteria in our mouth.
We followed that with making paper lanterns and Bible journaling. But I fell asleep. Learning is hard work.
My owner looks so pretty here, I just had to share. She asked me why they don't pray in public schools. I'm so glad that this little lady loves God and loves learning about Him.
