Tweety, Little Bird and I picked up Grandpa (Great Papa to the kids) for an outing on Saturday. It was Armed Forces Day. The local museum, Air & Military Museum of the Ozarks, or AMMO, was offering free admission in honor of AF Day. I really enjoyed watching Great Papa show Tweety around the airplanes. Grandpa had a good time chatting with the veterans at the museum. It was good to see a sparkle in his eye again. Hearing the stories and watching him tell them made for a very memorable trip.
