Changes

Crazy, but we "moved" again Monday. We decided to give the kids the big bedroom here so they would have more of a play room, instead of toys strewn all over the apartment.

The only thing I'm sad about is the big bedroom has its own bathroom. I found it so easy just to shut the door to our room to keep the kids out of our stuff and away from medicines etc. in our bathroom. Eventually we'll switch the closets and bathrooms, but for now, things are a mess! Our room looks great. We got used to having the small bedroom at the duplex we were in before moving here. Our bed fits nicely in the room and now my computer is in the bedroom so I can keep it away from the kids, but also maybe start a WAHM job. So here's a few pictures, mid-move mind you, of our room.

Here's the crazy mess in the kids room. All their toys are now in one spot, except the Jumparoo and "house" which are still out in the living room. Yet I'm excited that their little table and my homeschooling/kids craft supplies will be together and maybe we can be more disciplined about doing it.

All these changes also allowed my piano to move out to the living room. Wow, does this improve the "feel" of the room, much more classy. We also decided to cover up all the boxes behind the couch. Looks funny to see several blankets there, but the "messy" look is gone. The living room is comforting now to walk into.

I think, in the end, all these changes will be good. Right now, though, every thing is a huge mess, especially the kids room. Oh yeah!... more projects for me to work on (yes, I'm being sarcastic!).
