Little One has tried my patience today. He decided that every time he has to go potty, he's going to wet his pants. He has been so good at staying dry for a couple of months now. I don't know what has been his problem today. I've changed him probably seven times. He was at my friend's house for two hours. She changed him three times.
The most aggravating part was after supper. I said, "do you want a bath?" He shouted with joy, "yeah!" I told Hubby to take him upstairs and start his bath while I cleared the table. Little One started up the stairs. Hubby got side-tracked and made a phone call. A brief moment later, I heard, "Mommy, I went peepee in pants." A proud declaration from a very-much-in-trouble little boy. This tells me he knows exactly what he is doing and he is doing this on purpose.
The thing is every time he wets, he still goes in the potty then a few minutes later wets himself again. Uuugh!!! This last time, just a few minutes ago, I said, "no more clothes, you're not going to wear anything until you figure this out."
Another frustration...What do you do to a toddler that says, "No, Mom. No." to EVERYTHING?
On the side... Had my 13 week checkup today. Baby's heartbeat slowed down from last time at 164 to 153 today. It is always so refreshing to hear that beautiful sound.
